Obtaining your own unique Sequence Prefixes

Sequence prefixes must be unique. If two ages share the same prefix Uru will partially delete one of these ages. In order to make sure that all prefixes are unique there is only one safe method which should be followed by all age builders:

  • Use the ULM website at ULM website, which has a mechanism for getting one in the 10000 range. Instructions for this method are here: ULM Sequence Prefixes. Even if you do not distribute your age through ULM you can still (pre)register prefixes here.
  • Then go to Alcugs and edit that page to add the prefix you obtained from the ULM website. Or ask for someone on the forums to add your sequence prefix to that wiki page for you.
