Obtaining your own unique Sequence Prefixes

Since the introduction of the GoW Prpyp plugin, your own unique sequence prefixes should be obtained from the ULM website .

This requires (free) registration and will create an account for you to obtain your unique Sequence Prefixes.

Once you have registered and created your account, log in and click on "My Profile"

and scroll down the page until you get to this box

click on the small drop down box arrow and select the number of sequence prefixes you wish to be allocated to you ...

PLEASE NOTE: You can request additional sequence prefixes at any time in the future so I suggest to get you started you simply request a block of 5 numbers. This will give you 5 unique numbers enabling you to write five different ages at the same time. (If you need more sequence prefixes in the future for additional ages, simply return to the website and request another block.)

Click the Request button and the page will refresh, listing your own unique personal Age Sequence Prefix numbers...

These numbers are yours. They can't be allocated to anyone else, so you can create your new Age(s) with the knowledge that it won't conflict with anyone else's Age(s) - including those created at Alcugs and by Cyan.

Additional Information:

1) Now that you have an account you will also use this same website to upload your Age to the Uru Library Manager (which can distribute your age to the public). Please ensure that you have obtained a Fan Created Art (FCA) licence before uploading any of your Ages to the ULM. (Click here to learn how to obtain a FCA).

2) Because these sequence prefixes are allocated automatically, there is no need for you to do anything else with them (except use them in your Ages of course!!).

The full database of allocated sequence prefixes is kept at the website and is updated automtically with the names of the users they are allocated to.
