PyPRP is the plugin for Blender that allows us to export files into a format compatible with Uru.

In summer 2005, a fan named Almlys (http://www.almlys.org) announced a plugin that could be used to create ages for Uru. In the following months he was joined by a group of other hackers, and they continued the effort of improving PyPRP to allow for better ages.

PyPRP? GoW-PyPRP? I'm confused!

Beginning of 2008, a number of PyPRP developers, who are closely involved with the Guild of Writers, decided for mostly personal reasons to continue development of PyPRP on their own, and placed it under the Guild of Writers banner. This version is called GoW-PyPRP

They felt that in this way they could improve development of PyPRP and better help new writers to write Ages.

Almlys is still continuing the original PyPRP development branch. http://alcugs.almlys.org

The GoW (support-wise) recommends that you use the Gow-PyPRP versions, but feel free to decide for yourself which version you want to use.
